May 2020

May 1 – Illinois Congressman Bobby Rush introduces H.R. 6666, legislation intended to fund a $100B national contact tracing program. The extra 6 is for the extra evil.

  • The Washington Compost is happily reporting on a new program, the likes of which is usually reserved for third world banana republics, that will utilize technology once reserved for thwarting the propaganda campaigns of groups like ISIS to counter President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus. “The group, Defeat Disinfo, will use artificial intelligence and network analysis to map discussion of the president’s claims on social media. It will seek to intervene by identifying the most popular counter-narratives and boosting them through a network of more than 3.4 million influencers across the country – in some cases paying users with large followings to take sides against the president.” The article, of course, also includes the grotesque lie that President Trump told the American public to inject themselves with bleach or other disinfectants like Lysol. Fake news is truly the enemy of the people.
  • Despite Washington recording coronavirus 819 deaths (the state’s population is around 8M), and while averaging 867 deaths per year from flu and pneumonia, Governor Jay Inslee (Democrat) extends stay at home orders through May 31st, adding, “I would like to tell you that you all would be able to make reservations for June 1, but I cannot.” Douchebag! Also see this for a laugh.
  • Despite increasing civil unrest in Michigan, or perhaps to exacerbate it, Governor Gretchen Whitmer (Democrat) extends the state of emergency through May 28th.
  • California Governor Gavin Nuisance announces a “hard close” of Orange County beaches after residents flocked to the beach to enjoy sunlight and fresh air.
  • A mother in Colorado leaves her home to find a nasty note on her car window asking her to stop leaving her home, to stop using day care services and to keep her older kids in the house because they’re “loud.” Welcome to the new Amerika.
  • President Trump’s approval rating hits an all time high (49%) in a new Gallup poll. I don’t put too much into the report, however, because the same article is telling me the reanimated corpse known as Joe Biden has a 5 point lead over Trump for the 2020 election. What planet is this on? Remember when the New York Slimes was telling us for months leading up to the 2016 election Hillary had a 95+% chance of winning? How did that turn out?
  • An interesting article is published at the American Institute for Economic Research website titled, “Woodstock Occurred in the Middle of a Pandemic.”
  • McDonald’s announces it is getting ready for the new normal by trialing a “social-distancing restaurant” in the Netherlands. The restaurant will feature floor markings to keep people distanced, a mandatory hand-washing station to be used upon entering (for 20 seconds), kiosk ordering and payment, cart delivery of your food to your table, one-way seating, and glass table dividers. May 2 – According to the CDC website, as of today there have been almost 1.1M cases of COVID-19 reported in America and over 64K deaths. It should be noted NY (23,673) and NJ (7,538) account for nearly half of all the deaths from COVID-19 in the entire country. This is because NY, and presumably NJ, have handled this pandemic in an extremely poor manner (see previous entries for details about NY). Below is a breakdown of the reported cases and deaths (top 10 in red) for all states by population (plus Washington D.C.), as well as whether the state is red or blue (by governor):

  • A University of Pittsburgh researcher, Dr. Bing Liu, who was close to “making very significant findings” related to COVID, was found dead in his home after being shot several times. The death is being treated as a homicide.
  • Despite Oregon recording only 104 coronavirus deaths (the state’s population is 4.3M), and while averaging 492 deaths per year due to flu and pneumonia, their dirtbag communist Governor Kate Brown (Democrat) extends stay at home orders through July 6th. Wow.
  • A leaked dossier from the “Five Eyes” intelligence agencies is alleging a cover up by the Chinese Communist Party in their response to the unleashing of COVID. It is believed the Chinese government destroyed documents, silenced doctors, and lied about the transmissibility of the disease (among other things). Nice of them to get around to it.
  • Maine Governor Janet Mills has taken away the licenses of a restaurateur after he reopened his business in defiance of her lockdown diktat. The man’s business is located in Oxford county, which to date has recorded zero deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic. How is this reasonable in any way?
  • Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot – the same woman who said she would commit to improving Chicago by requiring all department heads and deputies she hires to pledge “allegiance to the New World Order” – threatens party hosts during a presser stating, “We will shut you down. We will cite you and if we need to, we will arrest you and we will take you to jail. Period. Don’t make us treat you like a criminal, but if you act like a criminal and you violate the law and you refuse to do what is necessary to save lives in this city during a pandemic we will take you to jail, period… Don’t be stupid.” She even added a little “we are watching” at the end to let the plebs know she means business.

May 3 – The president of Tanzania, John Magufuli, has declared the coronavirus test kits sent to his country to be “faulty” after test samples from a goat and a paw paw fruit came back positive. Magufuli apparently instructed his “security forces” to send unaware lab technicians several non-human samples, but assign them a human name and age. After the tests came back positive he said, “There  is something happening. I said before we should not accept that every aid is meant to be good for this nation,” also adding the kits should be investigated. Agreed.

  • In what was a very disturbing scene, punches were thrown and a taser was deployed when NYPD officers attempted to enforce social distancing measures. The jackboot who made the news is now on modified duty.
  • Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer joins XiNN’s Fake Yapper on State of the Union to demonize protesters who want the state lockdown lifted, depicting them as hateful, gun-toting Nazi-lovers. While smirking, Whitmer stated, “…displays like the one we saw at our capital is not representative of who we are (inaudible), there were swastikas, confederate flags and nooses and people with assault rifles and that’s very, that’s a small group of people… Some of the outrageousness of what happened at our capital this week depicted some of the worst racism and awful parts of our history.” Sorry Gretch, but people holding signs of you with a Hitler mustache is not the same as slavery or the Jim Crow era. This woman is a complete joke and an incompetent leader, so I guess it’s fitting she paid Fake Yapper a visit. The exchange takes place in the first three minutes of the video.
  • The Scarf Lady joins Chris Wallace (derogatory nickname needed) on his Fox News Sunday program to fear monger the public about reopening the economy. She also criticizes protesters in Michigan saying, “It’s devastatingly worrisome to me personally. Because if they go home and infect their grandmothers or grandfathers who have a co-morbid condition or they have a serious or unfortunate outcome, they will feel guilty for the rest of our lives.” The exchange starts around the 6:00 mark.
  • In a piece out of the UK Daily Mail, an Imperial College London professor is warning a vaccine may never be created (which would be good news), and that outbreaks and lockdowns may become “the norm” (not so good news). This is the same institution that put out a doomsday coronavirus prediction (see March 16) claiming millions would die from the virus in the US and UK, and our healthcare systems would be completely overrun with sick and dying people, so the new warnings should be taken with a grain of salt.

May 4 – The NYC Police Benevolent Association releases a statement regarding the enforcement of social distancing measures. The statement reads in part, “This situation is untenable: the NYPD needs to get cops out of the social distancing enforcement business altogether. The cowards who run this city have given us nothing but vague guidelines and mixed messages, leaving the cops on the street corners to fend for ourselves. Nobody has a right to interfere with a police action. But now that the inevitable backlash has arrived, they are once again throwing us under the bus.”

  • Following up on the disturbing post from April 27th, the previously unnamed nurse who reported medical malfeasance taking place at NYC hospitals through a friend, does her own report where she reveals her name and shares some of the horror stories she’s been witnessing. Judging by her accent and that she says she lives a couple of hundred miles away from the city, she’s likely a nurse from upstate NY who has relocated to NYC to help out during the pandemic. I can’t know if what she is saying is true, but judging by the number of deaths being reported in NY compared to the rest of the country, it wouldn’t surprise me. I believe the numbers have been, and still are, being inflated intentionally either through malfeasance or fraud (or both). You be the judge.
  • It is reported “anxiety created by reactions to Covid-19 – such as stay-at-home orders, business shutdowns, media exaggerations, and legitimate concerns about the virus – will destroy at least seven times more years of human life than can possibly be saved by lockdowns to control the spread of the disease. This figure is a bare minimum, and the actual one is likely more than 90 times greater.”
  • An interview with The Twerp is published in Nat Geo in which he states there is no scientific evidence COVID was made in a Chinese lab. He also goes on like a broken record to emphasize the importance of social distancing and express his optimism about a coronavirus vaccine being created in record time.
  • The nation’s largest supermarket chain, Kroger, is getting set to limit ground beef and fresh pork purchases. Also see this.
  • Politico reports Democrats are aiming “to squeeze” the GOP on the next coronavirus relief package, hoping to have much more of their scrapped “wish list” from March be included in any new legislative action taken. On a phone call with house members, Crypt Keeper of the House Nasty Pelosi said several times, “We have to think big.”
  • Politico publishes another piece titled, “‘Not the World’s Number One’: Chinese Social Media Piles On the U.S. [with subheadline ->] The verdict is in: China has outperformed, while the once-respected American system has disastrously faltered.” It would appear that this online rag has gone all-in on their support for the communist regime, using the article to play down the harshness of Chinese society and to rehash some fake news stories about Trump from the past month.
  • Due to an outcry from local leaders and citizens, California Governor Gavin Nuisance has started reopening beaches in Orange County after just 3 days.
  • Episode six of “Perspectives on the Pandemic” is released to YouTube by Journeyman Pictures. The episode features Dr. Dan Erickson and Dr. Artin Massihi, the two doctors from Bakersfield, California who made waves a while back after criticizing the state’s lockdown measures during a presser that aired on a local ABC affiliate. In this episode they discuss many things including Sweden’s approach, herd immunity, vaccines, the damage done to hospitals from terrible public health policy, and where we’re at overall in the COVID saga.

May 5 – NY Governor Andrew Cuomo begins to speak to the media about a new illness that has recently been affecting children in NYC called Kawasaki Syndrome. Most cases occur in children under 5 years old, and it is the last thing the people of NYC need right now. The illness is rare, and though the cause of this mysterious condition is unknown, we’re being told it is “linked” to the coronavirus – whatever that means. A doctor who appeared on CBS to talk about it seemed uninformed about the illness, and said as much when she started the interview by stating she only knew what was in an article CBS had sent her. This unfortunate news has now provided the government of NY with another thing to fear monger the public about in an effort to prevent people from leaving their homes. I’m sure they will capitalize on the fear factor. I’m also sure if and when President Trump says the words Kawasaki Syndrome, it will be deemed racist.

  • A group of data analysts in South Africa have produced a model which concluded the lockdown measures being carried out in response to the Wuhan will cause 29 times more deaths than the disease itself. The group “includes four actuaries, an economist and a doctor, while the work was checked by lawyers and mathematicians.”
  • Texas salon owner, Shelley Luther is sentenced to 7 days in jail for reopening her business in defiance of COVID restrictions. After calling her actions “selfish,” the judge told her she could apologize and wait until Friday to reopen (when restrictions were set to lift) to avoid jail time. Luther took exception and told the judge feeding her children is not selfish, and he could do whatever he needed to do, but she wasn’t going to close her salon… so he sentenced her to 7 days in jail and fined her $7K. Meanwhile, over 16K inmates have been released from US prisons, or are set to be released in the near future, due to COVID-19. Thankfully, the state’s governor and attorney general have called for her immediate release. This is all one big experiment to see how much we can be pushed around. I commend this woman for standing up for what’s right. Update (5/7/20): Luther is released from prison after an executive order by Governor Greg Abbott was applied retroactively to her case and the Texas Supreme Court granted a motion to release her.
  • A SWAT team is deployed in Odessa, Texas to raid a bar that was open for business, and to break up a peaceful protest taking place at the same location.
  • NYC School Chancellor Richard Carranza, like most Democrats, is looking at the pandemic as a tremendous opportunity to push forward their agenda. “I think all of us, we’re fighting against the normal because the normal meant that some were privileged and some were not. Never waste a good crisis to transform a system. We see this as an opportunity to finally push and move and be very strategic in a very aggressive way, what we know is the equity agenda for our kids.” The way NYC Democrats handled COVID is all you really need to know about them.
  • The NY Post publishes an article blasting NY Governor Andrew Cuomo for his role in the state’s “nursing home disaster.” The policy that COVID patients could not be denied entry or reentry into nursing homes needlessly killed thousands of the state’s most vulnerable people.
  • The Daily Snooze reports, “Two schoolboys in China reportedly collapsed and suddenly died within a week of each other after they were forced to participate in gym class while sporting face masks. The students, both 14 years old, were running laps as part of their schools’ required physical examination tests when they both unexpectedly dropped dead.” Also see this.

May 6 – Mainstream news outlets are reporting the total number of deaths in the US due to COVID-19 has surpassed 70K.

  • CBS (Complete Bull Shit) is again caught airing fake coronavirus-related news, this time airing staged footage from a COVID testing site. According to those involved, the CBS “news” crew pulled medical staff from the hospital – and away from their patients – and had them line up in their vehicles so they could show the long line in their segment. From the article: “Another registered nurse, Alison Mauro, recorded on hidden camera, said she and other medical professionals working the drive-through testing site did not administer the actual swab swipe as CBS News was filming, but the actual patients were made to wait longer because of the manufactured line. ‘We pretended. There were a couple of real patients, which made it worse.’ …The footage was used to accompany CBS News reporter Andriana Diaz’s narration and interview with Tasha Blackmon, the president and CEO of Cherry Health.” CBS subsequently blamed Cherry Health and took down the video from their YouTube channel.
  • Hypocrisy Alert!: Professor and lockdown-lover Neil Ferguson, the genius who brought us those doomsday predictions back in mid-March, is forced to resign after violating Britain’s lockdown policy by having his married lover visit him at his home. He even did radio interviews where he discussed the importance of maintaining this extreme policy with her hanging around his crib. As is usually the case with leftist government officials, it’s ‘do as I say, not as I do.’
  • The EU Observer reports Belgian intelligence has accused China of engaging in “military, scientific, and medical espionage.” These suspicions can be traced back to a series of intelligence reports produced between 2010 and 2016.
  • US and UK intelligence agencies issue a joint warning “rival states” are conducting “malicious cyber campaigns” against pharmaceutical companies and research institutions studying the coronavirus.
  • Facebook releases the names of the first 20 members of its new “oversight” council. These will be the people who determine what posts can rightfully be taken down from an individual’s Facebook page. Can you guess how many of these folks are conservatives? I’ll just tell you – zero.
  • In a riveting XiNN opinion piece written by nanny-state worshiper Catherine Pearlman, we are lectured about the “disconcerting phenomenon” of people venturing out into society without wearing a mask. Here’s a snippet of this condescending tripe: “It’s hard to pinpoint how many of us are clueless and careless — maybe half of those who go outside? A third? Some other fraction? — but it’s certainly way too many.” Apparently, people who do not fear COVID “lack empathy.” After reading the article I felt like an evil, coronavirus-breathing dragon (just like the one depicted in the video thumbnail on the article’s web page). Emotionally-driven comments like “Wearing a mask is cumbersome. It’s hot, and it’s uncomfortable. But it can save lives and ease the burden on those doctors and nurses facing unspeakable pain and suffering on the front lines” are presented in lieu of evidence face masks are actually helping the general public. If you want to, fine, but don’t boss me around and make me do it, too.
  • It is believed COVID lockdown measures will lead to millions of people contracting tuberculosis in the coming years. “The restrictions… are thought to have made it much more challenging for health care workers to test vulnerable populations and for patients to access treatments.”
  • San Francisco is now housing the homeless in hotel rooms due to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to being kept safe from the dreaded Wuhan Red Death, they are being supplied with cigarettes, booze, and in some cases weed and other narcotics. I’m sure they’ll be keeping them safe all the way into the fall, when they can be registered to vote and driven over to a polling station… or just given ballots directly for harvesting. Thankfully donations (likely from large, Democrat donors), and not tax money, are paying for all of this.

May 7 – The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity reports nursing homes and other assisted living facilities account for (at least) 38% of US deaths attributed to COVID. The article is chock full of statistics and worth the time to read. While people living in nursing homes or residential care facilities represent just 0.6% of the total US population, they’ve accounted for about 40% of the overall coronavirus-related deaths. Several Democrat governors in particular contributed greatly to this unfortunate trend.

  • The San Antonio City Council unanimously passes a resolution classifying terms like “Chinese virus” and “Kung Flu” as hate speech. Just pathetic.
  • Sweden’s chief scientist says now that his country has passed the peak of the pandemic, there is nothing he would have done differently aside from taking more precaution with regard to nursing homes – which accounted for more than half of the deaths in the entire country.
  • After Pennsylvania records 1K+ additional coronavirus deaths (3,500 total) over the past week, Governor Tom Wolf (Democrat) extends stay at home orders for “red counties” through June 4th – despite PA averaging 2,707 deaths per year due to flu and pneumonia (the state’s population is 12.8M). Guidelines were also released for the opening of “yellow counties.” Needless to say, people aren’t too happy in PA.

May 8News breaks that the WHO is readying a coronavirus app that will be used to monitor symptoms, and possibly people too, as part of a “contact tracing” program. The app is set to roll out in “under-resourced countries” during the month of May.

  • California Governor Gavin Nuisance “signed an executive order Friday to send every registered voter in California a mail-in ballot for the November presidential election.” This election already looks like it is going to be rife with fraud as blue states continue to change the rules. For the record, there’s no actual need for this anywhere. If you can social distance at the supermarket, there’s no reason why you can’t social distance at a polling station.
  • Actor/comedian Kevin James releases a (very) short film poking fun at the current social distancing measures and their enforcement. In response, various establishment-worshipers are writing pieces like this condemning the video as “bad and irresponsible.” These propagandists sure do take themselves seriously.
  • In what seems like something out of the movie Idiocracy, a company in Colombia is building hospital beds that can be converted into a coffin if and when the patient dies. Might as well stick optimism in one of those.

May 9 – “An inflammatory illness recently observed in dozens of New York children – one that state health officials say may be linked to Covid-19 – has killed a teenager and two children under 8 years old, state officials said Saturday… ‘We were laboring under the impression that young people were not affected by Covid-19… We’re not so sure that that is the fact anymore,’ Cuomo told reporters Saturday.” So far, over 70 children have been diagnosed with Kawasaki Syndrome and three of them have died.

  • Nearly one-third of all COVID-related deaths in the US are among nursing home patients or staff.

May 10 – It is being reported the Scarf Lady told CDC Director Robert Redfield (also see this) “There is nothing from the CDC that I can trust” during a recent meeting. The Washington Compost also reported Birx and others feared the CDC’s data-tracking system was inflating coronavirus statistics like mortality rates and case numbers by up to 25%.

  • NY Governor Andrew Cuomo reverses the policy allowing COVID patients to be admitted into nursing homes, a policy responsible for killing at least 5000 people.
  • Senator Tom Cotton joins Maria Bartiromo on Fox News to discuss how new cell phone data shows the Wuhan lab suspected of leaking or releasing COVID, as well as the surrounding roads, had been shut down for a week in mid-October. This suggests something may have gone wrong at the lab, and all activity in the area needed to be temporarily shut down. It should be noted this was about 2 ½ months before the Chinese government admitted to the Wuhan Health Organization a serious medical issue was afoot.

May 11 – NY Governor Andrew Cuomo refers to COVID as a “European virus” several times during his daily press conference. How much longer before we’re told the virus was released by the White House?

  • The new “mysterious” illness affecting children in NY is not Kawasaki Syndrome, but a different illness being called “’pediatric multi-system inflammatory syndrome associated with COVID-19’… Health experts believe the illness could be the body’s overreaction to COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.” So far, hospitals across the state have reported 93 cases.
  • President Trump cuts his daily briefing short after reporters get uppity about his response to a meaningless and nonsensical question. Trump responded to CBS White House correspondent Weijia Jiang about why he has made COVID testing a “global competition” by telling her to “ask China,” which apparently had to do with her race and not the fact she was the one who asked the question. “Sir, why are you saying that to me specifically?” she asked in typical CBS “gotcha” fashion. It’s not like Trump has mentioned China every day since the pandemic started or anything. I really enjoyed the “but you called on me!” shouted by a different reporter as he walks away. These people behave like unruly children!
  • The Twerp reaches out to New York Slimes reporter Sheryl Gay Stolberg to tell her in advance what he will be warning America about at a Senate hearing the following day: that “Americans will face ‘needless suffering and death’ if the country opens up prematurely.” She then typed it right up for him. Expect these types of “warnings” more frequently as Americans get fed up and states reopen.
  • Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf calls moves to reopen businesses by owners and local government officials “selfish” and “cowardly.” I don’t think this is going to go over too well with voters. Wolf is also threatening to withhold federal funds provided to assist businesses during the plannedemic.

May 12 – Chinese doctors published an article May 7th in the journal Nature, suggesting pangolins may have been the “intermediate host” where a bat coronavirus mutated into COVID. “The Guangzhou group states… the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of a pangolin coronavirus is nearly identical to the same structure in COVID-19, having only a single amino acid difference. The Chinese scientists claim that a pangolin coronavirus appears to have ‘donated’ the RBD to COVID-19, presumably through some type of recombinant event occurring between a bat coronavirus and a pangolin coronavirus inside a pangolin host… China’s own scientists may have inadvertently stumbled upon the truth. A far more likely explanation is that the pangolin RBD was inserted into a bat coronavirus by genetic engineering.” The suggestion by the scientists this “recombinant event” was natural is speculation, and they offered no data to support it. Also see this.

  • The US, which has already become one of the leaders in the number of daily COVID tests administered, begins averaging more than 300K tests per day. This testing frenzy will only serve to feed the hysteria being exacerbated by the media. Only symptomatic people should be tested.
  • It is reported Bill Gates attempted to bribe the House of Representatives in Nigeria to pass legislation requiring all citizens to take a coronavirus shot.
  • China pressured the WHO to not inform the world about the pandemic that would be arriving shortly. They did this while also hoarding personal protective equipment from other parts of the world not yet hit, and who would end up being less prepared when it finally did.
  • A leaked study out of the German Ministry of the Interior shows the number of deaths caused by the lockdown measures being carried out there will be much greater than the number of deaths caused by COVID. The author of the paper, Tichys Einblick, has been suspended from his position at the ministry, the paper is being dismissed as an “isolated individual opinion,” and a media campaign has begun to discredit his findings.
  • In an article published at the Euronews website titled “Will microchip implants be the next big thing in Europe?” readers are told about the wonderful benefits and “small superpowers” that we can all have by taking this microchip. These benefits include having easier access to computers, buildings and public transportation, “But using them as an alternative to cash or card payments is expected to be the tipping point for the technology.” Yes, because it’s so hard to take a card out and insert it into the little machine at checkout. There are plans to chip 2500 people  in Italy this year (with 200 already chipped), but due to recent pushback because of all the “tracing” talk surrounding COVID-19, things may have hit a little snag.
  • XiNN fake news strikes again, this time with the headline, “68% of Americans say a vaccine is needed before returning to normal life, new survey finds.” From the linked article: “The actual question was “How important are each of the following factors to you when thinking about your willingness to return to your normal activities?” The option “availability of a vaccine to prevent COVID-19” was important to 68 percent of respondents. That’s quite different. A vaccine could be “very important” to people without being mandatory. CNN’s new headline reads, “68% of Americans say an available vaccine is very important before returning to normal life, new survey finds.” CNN is clickbait trash.
  • Crypt Keeper of the House Nasty Pelosi releases a new, $3T coronavirus relief package much like the one she released back in March. It’s packed with a whole bunch of crap that has nothing to do with the coronavirus, and it’s being given cover by the mainstream media. There is no doubt when the GOP rejects this awful piece of legislation she will make the rounds on all of the liberal media outlets to receive her tongue bath and claim Republicans are playing politics in America’s time of need. How do Democrat voters not see through these games?
  • The Gateway Pundit publishes an updated version of a previous article citing all of the times The Twerp has been wrong since the whole COVID-19 fiasco began. The total is now up to 15 for those of you who have been counting.

May 13 – The New York Post reports how during a phone conversation with NYPD Chief Terence Monahan, incompetent NYC Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot refused to oblige his request for 500K face masks, instead offering a mere 50K. During the exchange, she is alleged to have said she didn’t give “two rats asses” about his officers. This wouldn’t be surprising as most leftist NYC officials are notoriously anti-police (and sociopathic).

  • After being ticketed May 6th for reopening his Owosso, Michigan barber shop, Karl Manke has his barber’s license suspended, and is now facing a $1K fine. The 77-year-old man reopened his business because he was facing financial difficulty, but what does Gov. Gretchen Whitmer know about that? I mean, what’s next?
  • Pennsylvania Health Secretary, Dr. Rachel Levine (who until just last year would have been considered mentally ill… also see this), confirmed she “recently” moved her mother out of a nursing home due to a spike in deaths. Out of the 3943 COVID deaths in PA so far, 2705 have been residents in long-term facilities. Why didn’t Levine advise the commoners living in PA do the same? On a side note, I find it hard to trust a health commissioner who looks unhealthy.
  • Business Insider publishes an article titled, “WHO: The coronavirus ‘may never go away’ if clusters of anti-vaxxers oppose a vaccine.” The headline should read: “WHO: ‘We have you all held hostage. Roll up your sleeves and submit now!’”
  • The Wisconsin Supreme Court strikes down Governor Tony Evers’ stay at home order extension, describing it as “unenforceable.” In response, Evers told reporters, “Republicans own that chaos.” I’m sure Evers is now having COVID patients offloaded by the dozen at nursing homes like his Democrat counterparts.
  • In what’s sure to be a winning move, CNN announces brainwashed teenager Greta Thunberg will be included in the lineup for their coronavirus town hall taking place Thursday, May 14th. She’s already been declared a climate expert, why not make her an epidemiologist as well? This kid has really lousy parents.
  • A German hospital finds men with lower testosterone levels are more likely to die from COVID-19 after the hospital assessed the levels of 45 male patients admitted because of the virus.

May 14 – President Trump joins Maria Bartiromo for an interview that aired on her early morning broadcast Mornings with Maria on the Fox Business channel. During the interview, Trump states the military is being “mobilized” to participate in a mass vaccination program later in the year, if and when a successful COVID-19 vaccine is created. That being said, I don’t believe Trump will ever mandate a nationwide vaccine, and hopefully any attempt at the state level to require a vaccine would be shot down in the courts. This type of talk is about reopening the economy, and playing along with the vaccine pushers to achieve that end. Regardless, I must admit I don’t like hearing “military” and “vaccine” in the same sentence. Time will tell if this ends up coming to pass. The full interview, which was pretty good, can be seen here.

  • WTF: A restaurant in Germany is giving its customers pool noodles to wear on their heads to maintain social distancing. I guess there won’t be any young lovers sharing their first kiss over a plate of schnitzel in that joint any time soon! Do you think Americans would actually go for this nonsense? I do.

May 15 – The US will resume funding the Wuhan Health Organization. While I’d prefer we never give them another penny of taxpayer money, funding will resume at the same level China contributes – which would be an 80-90% reduction in what we’ve been giving them.

  • New York has been intentionally miscounting the numbers of state nursing home deaths after “quietly” altering reporting rules. Though the official directive (which was issued March 25th and has now been scrubbed from the internet) to admit patients to nursing homes was rescinded on May 10th, on or about May 3rd the rules were changed so that COVID patients who were taken from nursing homes to hospitals before being pronounced dead were no longer being considered “nursing home deaths,” only victims who were physically present in the homes when they died. Governor Cuomo, and the pack of morons who have mismanaged the handling of the pandemic in New York since early February, did this to cover for their own incompetence. Regardless of these dishonest procedures, NY still leads the country with nearly 5500 nursing home deaths due to COVID. Also see this great article on the overall issue.
  • NY Senator Schmuck Schumer appears on MSDNC and claims President Trump is “picking on” China for calling them out for unleashing COVID on the world. Apparently, that’s no big deal to Schumer… or just something better left unsaid.
  • Liberal journalist Matt Taibbi publishes an excellent article titled, “Democrats Have Abandoned Civil Liberties.” After a thoughtful piece describing how liberals have abandoned their (supposed) principles in regard to General Flynn, Russiagate, and now COVID-19, he concludes with, “…I don’t understand why.” That’s easy, Matt. It’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome.

May 16 – Health officials in Colorado have revised the way they count deaths from COVID-19 by differentiating between the terms “died with” and “died from.” This caused the state’s death toll to plummet about 25%. The change was made after the state attributed the death of a man to COVID, despite the fact he had a blood alcohol content of 0.55% at the time of his death, which is unbelievably high.

  • Serious issues regarding the way coronavirus deaths are being tallied across the country, as well as the accuracy of these numbers, are beginning to come to light.
  • The US Food and Drug Administration approves an at-home nasal swab test kit for COVID.

May 17 – Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has now made it a Class A misdemeanor for a business owner to open in defiance of his stay at home order. “A Class A misdemeanor in Illinois is punishable by a fine between $75 and $2,500. Members of Pritzker’s cabinet described it as a new and gentler ‘tool’ that law enforcement can use to keep businesses closed during the coronavirus pandemic – and therefore keep people safe – that’s less severe than other options, like closure orders or stripping establishments of their liquor licenses.” The new penalty was added “quietly” and has actually been in effect since Friday afternoon.

May 18 – The Commissioners Court in Collin County, Texas holds a meeting during which “new case definitions” for COVID-19 are discussed regarding “probable cases.” During her “brief explanation” (which starts at the 15:25 mark), Aisha Souri of the Collin County epidemiology department explains how a positive PCR (polymerase chain reaction) lab result will no longer be required to count a patient as having COVID. She explains, “So, for a confirmed case it stays the same, you still just need PCR. But, now they’ve added a probable case definition. So, that still gets counted towards the case count. It’s different, it’s not ‘confirmed,’ it’s ‘probable,’ but it’s still a case. Meaning, if you use another testing method, not PCR, and if you have close contact with a confirmed or probable case – and if you did that lab work that was not a PCR you could be considered a case with or without symptoms.” She also goes on to describe the new way of counting COVID deaths stating, “Previously, prior to this definition, it was only if you had a positive PCR result that you would be counted as someone who died related to COVID-19. Now, that lab testing is no longer required to be counted towards that.” Souri then explains through another slide how and what combination of symptoms, including a “subjective” fever, are needed to be considered a “probable” case. At the 22:05 mark, Souri puts up her final slide (which is just a different version of the first slide) and explains how 1 confirmed case will now be counted as 17 cases based solely on contacts because of this new “probable” definition. This makes it very clear what all the clamoring over more contact tracing has really been about… If you have no symptoms, but have been in contact with someone who is a confirmed case, you will be counted in the COVID numbers as well, regardless of the fact you are not sick and have never been tested. Collin County Judge Chris Hill chimed in when she was done presenting and wondered aloud about what kind of impact this would have on the numbers. Hill said, “If you have a subjective fever and you have a headache, and you live in Collin County, you now meet the qualifications to be a probable COVID patient. It is remarkable how low the standard is nowI’m very concerned that we absolutely could see the numbers jump very rapidly in a way that is actually not indicative of what we’re seeing here in the community in the Public Health Department. I fear this is coming at a time where we’re just starting to reopen, and if the numbers jump in a false way, it’s going to start to be very concerning for our citizens that we’re actually going backwards.” This is the exact reason we’re seeing a sudden “surge” in cases, especially in Texas. In an attempt to justify keeping the economy shuttered, case numbers are being artificially created and then amplified by the MSM to keep the fear ratcheted up.

  • President Trump writes a 4-page letter to Tedros Ghebreyesus, head of the Wuhan Health Organization, in which he threatens to freeze US funding to the organization unless they “can actually demonstrate independence from China.”
  • President Trump reveals to the media he has been taking the much-maligned drug hydroxychloroquine for over a week to prevent contracting the coronavirus. As a result, the media immediately revived talking points about how it’s “unproven” and “dangerous,” even going so far as to say that it will kill you! Check out how many lies and other misinformation is packed into this two-minute article from Sky News… It’s downright scary.
  • Rich Lowry publishes an article on the National Review website about “The Massive Coronavirus Supply Effort that the Media Loves to Hate.” The story chronicles the ignored successes of the Trump administration.

May 19 – Chinese scientists working at Peking University believe they have found a therapeutic treatment for the coronavirus. Using the “neutralising antibodies” of 60 recovered COVID patients, scientists are hopeful this treatment will not only be used to drastically speed up recovery time, but perhaps prevent infection as well.

  • 500 doctors sign a letter to President Trump urging him to put an end to the lockdown measures being used around the country to mitigate the spread of COVID. Written by Dr. Simone Gold, the letter argues these measures will cause more deaths than the disease itself. Gold writes, “The millions of casualties of a continued shutdown will be hiding in plain sight, but they will be called alcoholism, homelessness, suicide, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure.” It’s too bad we never get to hear from these people in the MSM.
  • Pennsylvania Congressman Mike Kelly appears on ABC’s The View to discuss his opposition to Governor Tom Wolf’s decision to continue with lockdown measures. Kelly also shared with the audience his own experience with COVID, as both he and his wife contracted the illness. After saying he was prescribed hydroxychloroquine, and that he took it, the head moron on the show Joyless Behar responded by saying, “Wow. I can’t believe anybody with a brain would take that stuff, but you seem like an intelligent guy, you’re a representative in Congress. Why would you take that drug? There are terrible consequences.” Based on her reaction, you would have thought he said he was snorting Special K and huffing gasoline to cure his illness. What Joyless chooses to not understand about “that stuff” is that it’s had FDA approval since 1955, and is still used with success to treat malaria, lupus, arthritis, and other illnesses. The FDA also approved the use of “that stuff” to treat COVID-19 back in late March. The real issues at play here are 1) President Trump endorsed it, and 2) hydroxychloroquine has been off-patent for decades, thus offering no potential to pull in massive profits. This is why despite many endorsements by doctors and some proven success treating COVID, “that stuff” is still constantly being delegitimized by all of the MSM outlets. Does Joyless Behar really believe she knows more than a doctor about what medications should be prescribed to patients? Of course not, it’s just another meaningless talking point. To hell with whether or not hydroxychloroquine can actually help people, or if she can even pronounce it!
  • In an appearance on Yahoo News, brain-damaged Democrat presidential front-runner Creepy Uncle Joe Biden responds to President Trump taking hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic by saying, “It’s like saying maybe if you inject Clorox into your blood it may cure you. C’mon, man! What is he doing? What in God’s name is he doing?” Whatever you say, Joe.
  • The CDC publishes an article about the use of personal protective equipment in both clinical and nonclinical settings. Regarding the wearing of masks in public the article states, “Disposable medical masks (also known as surgical masks) are loose-fitting devices that were designed to be worn by medical personnel to protect accidental contamination of patient wounds, and to protect the wearer against splashes or sprays of bodily fluids. There is limited evidence for their effectiveness in preventing influenza virus transmission either when worn by the infected person for source control or when worn by uninfected persons to reduce exposure. Our systematic review found no significant effect of face masks on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”
  • Gym owners in New Jersey are racking up tickets for reopening their business, while two gym-goers have been arrested for defying the state’s lockdown orders.
  • A “fact checker” by the name of Flora Teoh, who has been targeting the two California doctors mentioned earlier in this timeline and flagging or removing their content from the internet due to its “inaccuracy,” has connections to Bill Gates, George Soros, Facebook and several “fact check” agencies. Shocking, I know. This woman is not a medical doctor and has no business removing the fact-based opinions of people who are much more qualified than she is. This, unfortunately, is part of a disturbing trend that has only accelerated over the last several years. We are quickly becoming no better than China, or any other repressive country, because of this type of censorship. Update (6/13/23): Teoh is still at it, this time going after Joe Rogan and The Gateway Pundit after Rogan read one of the website’s articles about a December 2022 study out of the Cleveland Clinic on air. Teoh’s weak “conclusion” about their interpretation of the study says, “In summary, the claim that a Cleveland Clinic study found more COVID-19 vaccine doses increases a person’s risk of getting COVID-19 is misleading. It fails to take into account several issues, such as the fact that the study was designed to evaluate bivalent vaccine effectiveness. It wasn’t equipped to determine whether the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses influences COVID-19 risk, therefore several potential confounding factors weren’t accounted for. The claim also doesn’t take into account several other published studies which have found that more vaccine doses enhances protection against COVID-19, giving users a one-sided view of our current state of understanding on the subject.” We’re not talking about “other” studies, Flora. We’re talking about the study done by the Cleveland Clinic – and it clearly shows the more jabs a person takes the more susceptible to COVID they become. Read my December 19th breakdown for additional details about the Cleveland Clinic study and see this if you want to read TGP’s retraction demand.
  • An interview is published between the culture editor at The Federalist, Emily Jashinsky, and Tim Ryan, the founder of the “A Man In Recovery Foundation.” They discuss how substance abuse and mental health issues have skyrocketed during the ongoing pandemic due to anxiety, isolation, and economic hardships.
  • Perhaps the dumbest invention known to man is presented to the world by the MSM. It’s known as the “Pac-Man” Mask and, well… just check it out for yourself. We’re in a lot of trouble.

May 20 – The CDC revises their “best estimate” COVID-19 fatality rate to an overall rate of 4 per every 1000 infected. The rate for people aged 0-49 is 0.0005%, 0.002% for people aged 50-64, and 0.013% for people aged 65+, for an average of 0.004%.

  • The CDC now says the coronavirus ‘does not spread easily’ via the touching of contaminated surfaces. America’s medical bureaucracy is broken and inept. Though on another note, it appears Mayor de Blasio may have been right (see February 2), at least until the people at CDC change their minds again.
  • A restaurant called Fish Tales in Maryland is having its customers stand in “bumper tables” to maintain social distancing… and the stupidity may soon be coming to a town near you. According to the owner, “there are other restaurants in other parts of the country that have contacted us to get information [on how] to order them.” I have just one thing to say about this: If you ever walk into a restaurant and they ask you to sit in one of these, please – for the good of humanity – go find another place to eat.

May 21 – The Freedom Foundation confirms the state of Washington is counting in their COVID death totals people who died from other causes, including gunshot wounds. When asked about the report at a press conference Monday, Governor Jay Inslee (Democrat) – whose daughter-in-law works for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – dismissed it as “dangerous,” “disgusting” and “malarkey.” He also said the Freedom Foundation was “fanning these conspiracy claims from the planet Pluto” and not caring about the lives lost to COVID-19. The governor doth protest too much, methinks.

  • We learn the state of New York sent over 4,500 COVID-infected patients to nursing homes between March 25th, the date the now-infamous nursing home directive was issued, and May 10th, when it was rescinded. This led directly to the death of nearly 6K people in nursing homes or other long term care facilities. Everyone seems to get this except Governor Andrew Cuomo, who still doubts this policy (at least publicly) contributed to these deaths. And making the real problem of his terrible leadership even worse is the fawning, leftist “news media” who rarely, if ever, raise important issues in a serious way, never push back against the smirky-faced wise cracks, and treat him as if he is deserving of higher office. Cuomo is supposedly viewed among Democrats “as the most trusted Democratic leader in America,” second only to former President Obama. Just take a look at this tongue bath he was given by Amy Robach of ABC “news,” after he put the nursing home directive in place. Man, is it good to be a Democrat.
  • The New England Journal of Medicine publishes a study stating, “We know that wearing a mask outside health care facilities offers little, if any, protection from infection. Public health authorities define a significant exposure to Covid-19 as face-to-face contact within 6 feet with a patient with symptomatic Covid-19 that is sustained for at least a few minutes (and some say more than 10 minutes or even 30 minutes). The chance of catching Covid-19 from a passing interaction in a public space is therefore minimal. In many cases, the desire for widespread masking is a reflexive reaction to anxiety over the pandemic… It is also clear that masks serve symbolic roles. Masks are not only tools, they are also talismans that may help increase health care workers’ perceived sense of safety, well-being, and trust in their hospitals.” Not sure about you, but I’ve had about enough of these people and the nonsense they spew on a regular basis.
  • Doctors in Walnut Creek, California call for the end of the state’s stay at home orders saying they have seen higher numbers of deaths from suicide than from the coronavirus. “We’ve never seen numbers like this, in such a short period of time… I mean we’ve seen a year’s worth of suicide attempts in the last four weeks.” Globalists just want people dead, it doesn’t really matter how.
  • In a propaganda piece that reads like it was written by the Ministry of Truth, the Associated Press attempts to soft-pedal the emergence of contact tracers by sharing their supposed plight with us, and making them seem like an army of benevolent do-gooders forced to deal with a horde of dishonest rabble (us).
  • Healthcare workers in the UK will be participating in a study to see if two antimalarial drugs, including hydroxychloroquine, can prevent contracting COVID. Did anyone run this by Neil Cavuto first?
  • Michigan Judge Cynthia Diane Stephens (appointed by a Democrat) dismisses a lawsuit brought by republican members of the state’s legislature which sought to challenge Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s most recent extension of statewide stay at home orders. The judge argued, “through two distinct acts, stated in plain and certain terms, the Legislature has granted the governor broad but focused authority to respond to emergencies that affect the state and its people.” Which, to be fair, is true.
  • A Univision talking head cuts off an interview with their own network’s MD after he states hydroxychloroquine can be used to prevent coronavirus.

May 22Hypocrisy Alert!: Illinois Governor JB Pritzker (Democrat) has construction workers from Illinois crossing the border to work on a project at his Wisconsin farm. So much for those stay-at-home orders, huh?

  • The Twerp is now claiming that keeping the country closed too long could lead to ‘irreparable damage.’ Apparently, in addition to being a doctor, Fauci is also a rocket scientist. Also see this article about “the science.”

May 23 – “[A] new study from scientists in the United States suggests… a significant majority of the population may already have some level of immunity to the coronavirus, a possible explanation for why so many individuals seem to experience few to no symptoms from the disease.” Researchers believe the immune response observed in uninfected blood samples could be generated by the body’s response to the coronavirus that causes the common cold.

  • XiNN photojournalist Khalil Abdallah, one of the many Karens employed by the world’s leader in fake news, stalked President Trump at his Virginia golf club to snap a few pictures of him daring to have some down time. They reported, “the president is moving around the course in a golf cart alone but is golfing with three partners. None of the men are wearing masks.” Oh, the humanity.

May 24 – “Flinders University Professor Nikolai Petrovsky has completed a scientific study, currently undergoing peer review… which found COVID-19 was uniquely adapted for transmission to humans, far more than any other animal, including bats.” During his interview with Sky News, Petrovsky stated the theory this virus escaped from a lab is something that is not out of the realm of possibility, and should be investigated. “In other words COVID-19 could have been created from that recombination event in an animal host or it could have occurred in a cell-culture experiment.” He also stated the reason many scientists are willing to believe the bogus wet market origin theory is because any admission this problem originated from a lab could have the potential to drastically alter how virus research is done moving forward. The 15-minute interview is included with the article link.

  • Video footage emerges of a woman in a Staten Island supermarket being berated by other shoppers for not wearing a face mask (also see this). While New Yorkers have a rep for being tough, several months of fear mongering has apparently led many to abandon this supposed toughness in favor of fealty to the government, even though there is no proof masks are even helping the situation. Sad!

May 25 – The left-wing national government in Italy has recruited 60,000 “civic assistants” to monitor the population and enforce social distancing during phase two of the country’s reopening… and the citizens are not happy.

  • NY Governor Andrew Cuomo decides he will no longer be in the coronavirus prediction business because, according to him, “we all failed” to deliver accurate models. I would say all of those kooks out there who questioned those numbers from the start, like yours truly, did not fail. The numbers only reveal NY’s failure to manage the situation while the overall threat of the virus remains exaggerated.
  • The NY Slimes runs a dramatic piece dedicated to “remembering” the nearly 100K people who have died since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Just six names in, however, researchers came across a 27-year-old man who was murdered. Expect these “official” death toll numbers to be shredded years from now.
  • “[P]rescriptions for anti-anxiety medications rose 34.1% between mid-February and mid-March, while prescriptions for antidepressants and sleep medications increased 18.6% and 14.8%, respectively. Ginger, which supplies video- and chat-based mental health services to companies, says its psychiatrists wrote 86% more prescriptions for psychotropic drugs, primarily antidepressants, in March and April 2020 compared with January and February.” Not good.

May 26 – In response to a Tweet by Sleepy Joe which said, “So much of this could have been prevented if we had a president who listened to someone other than himself,” the Trump War Room Twitter account Tweets a montage of The Twerp saying President Trump never once went against his guidance regarding any and all things coronavirus. Joe Biden is a shameless liar and always has been.

  • The Canadian military releases a “gut-wrenching” report describing the conditions at five long term care facilities in Ontario during the COVID-19 pandemic. The amount of neglect and abuse taking place is disturbing.
  • Hypocrisy Alert!: In what is a perfect example of fake news, MSDNC sent one of their masked clown reporters out to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to do a segment about how “there’s not a lot of social distancing, and not a lot of care about the coronavirus.” They arrived at this conclusion because as the state has been reopening, many people have been heading out and about without wearing a mask. And they would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for the meddling passerby in a Packers jersey who interjected, “including your cameraman.” The man in the jersey went on to say half of the clown crew weren’t wearing masks. This is a great illustration of how this health threat has been exaggerated. As these disingenuous reporters go on TV to shame people who aren’t buying into their media-created hysteria, they aren’t even practicing what they preach.
  • Hypocrisy Alert!: Minnesota senator and former presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar criticizes President Trump for using hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic to guard against COVID-19. This is after her husband took the drug, and it worked for him, when he contracted the disease earlier this year. As I’ve mentioned before, if it wasn’t for double standards, the left wouldn’t have any standards at all.
  • Virginia Governor Ralph “Coonman” Northam issues an order making it mandatory for people to wear masks in public starting May 29th. Ironically, the one and only arrest that took place during a Virginia gun rights rally back on January 20th (attended by over 20K people) was for wearing a face mask.
  • Hypocrisy Alert!: Protests and rioting begins in blue cities across the country after the killing of an unarmed black man named George Floyd in the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In the days, and now weeks that followed, a total double standard has been on full display as there has been a complete 180 in regard to social distancing. The same MSM that called you a selfish grandma-killer (also see this, this, this and this) has now decided some things are more important than a pandemic – namely protesting for justice after the cop responsible had already been arrested and charged with third (and then second) degree murder and manslaughter. The three other officers on the scene were later charged with aiding and abetting. To add insult to injury, five more black people, as well as others, have been killed due to the rioting and lawlessness taking place, including retired St. Louis police captain David Dorn, who was murdered while checking on a friend’s business after the alarm had been triggered (also see this). This story has received minimal to no news coverage in the MSM because it does not serve the purpose of stoking anger and racial division. For a breakdown of this hypocrisy see this. To see how this hypocrisy is not limited to the US see this. Statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and the leader of the Union Army during the Civil War, Ulysses S. Grant, have been torn down. The steps of the Lincoln Memorial have been defaced, as well as the 54th Regiment Memorial in Boston. The 54th Regiment was an all-black regiment of volunteers that fought on the side of the Union Army during the American Civil War. Other statues and monuments were torn down and defaced as well. The way the COVID outbreak has been handled by blue state governors was an attempt to destroy the US economy, and now the horde of leftists destroying cities and monuments is an attempt to destroy the country itself. What’s happening right now is not justice. In fact, it doesn’t even make any logical sense. Oh, and apparently some people now consider it an injustice to not be able to loot stores. Update (4/20/21): Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of all charges.

May 27 – The Twerp appears on CNN and says the second wave of COVID expected to hit this fall is “not inevitable.” This is a far cry from what he was saying only a couple of months ago when his regular remarks echoed the messaging of Bill Gates in which the threat of coronavirus wasn’t going away without a vaccine. I’m sure he’ll pivot back to doomsday scenario 2.0 before too long.

May 28 – The CDC reports the US coronavirus death toll has surpassed 100K.
