March 1 – The first case of coronavirus is announced in New York. The patient is a woman who had recently traveled from Iran.
- New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Tweets in response to the first case being announced in New York State: “We have learned of the 1st positive case of COVID-19 in NY. The patient contracted the virus while in Iran & is isolated. There is no reason for undue anxiety – the general risk remains low in NY. We are diligently managing this situation & will provide info as it becomes available.” The situation was managed very poorly to be generous.
- We learn an Atlanta lab producing coronavirus test kits was “contaminated.” This may have delayed initial production efforts and caused results from that batch of kits to be unreliable.
March 2 – New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Tweets: “Since I’m encouraging New Yorkers to go on with your lives + get out on the town despite Coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions. Here’s the first: thru Thurs 3/5 go see “The Traitor” @FilmLinc. If “The Wire” was a true story + set in Italy, it would be this film.” A freaking movie recommendation, really??
- Chinese biotech company BrightGene is censured for mass producing the drug Remdesivir before it was approved for use anywhere in the world, and before permission was given by US biotech company Gilead (who cares, it’s garbage).
March 3 – Coronavirus outbreak begins in Spain.
March 5 – New York Slimes columnist Max Fisher is at it again, this time spreading the “false hope” they love to criticize President Trump for spreading by stating in a piece, “For most people, the disease is probably not particularly deadly; health officials tend to put it somewhere within range of an unusually severe seasonal flu. Even in a global pandemic, it’s expected to kill fewer people than the flu virus.” While I don’t necessarily disagree with him, there is a double standard at play which is obvious to see.
- We begin learning the US depends heavily on China and India for our supply of medicine – upwards of 90% of drugs or active ingredients are imported. This represents a huge (and obvious) threat to our national security.
March 6 – From a piece in Gothamist Magazine: “On March 6th, de Blasio introduced a new unsettling term during a briefing, saying that ‘the New York City understanding’ was that the virus could only last on a surface for 2 to 3 minutes. He specified this was ‘the New York City understanding’ because the CDC, the WHO, and even Governor Andrew Cuomo had a very different understanding: the virus could last hours, even days on a surface… A few days later, Dr. Ian Lipkin, a leading virologist who has been researching COVID-19, pointed to a recent study that showed that the new coronavirus could persist on surfaces for days. The study was published a week later, when de Blasio was still telling New Yorkers that the virus could not last on a surface more than a few minutes…. When asked about the study, Mayor de Blasio leaned on the city’s health experts who he said were relying on real-world scenarios versus a laboratory study. ‘It’s not resolved,’ he said. ‘Our team thinks [coronavirus] has a very limited shelf life.’”
March 7 – The smug and elitist Neil deGrasse Tyson appears on The Late Night Show with Democrat party propagandist Stephen Colbert and engages in this exchange when asked his opinion on the coronavirus outbreak:
- Tyson: “I think we’re in the middle of a massive experiment, worldwide. And that is…”
- Colbert, interjecting: “And we’re the guinea pigs?”
- Tyson: “Ah, maybe. The experiment is, will people listen to scientists?” (crowd claps moronically in worship of the “experiment”) He continues, “In this case referring to medical professionals, in this particular case.”
- Colbert: “Say Anthony Fauci over at Allergy and Infectious Disease.”
- Tyson, nodding in agreement: “For example… and, um, are you washing your hands? And are you taking these precautions? These are warnings offered by scientists. And…”
- Colbert, interjecting: “For our own good.”
- Tyson, nodding in agreement: “For our own good. And it seems to me, if we all listen, all pay attention, don’t freak out… All right, a life lived in fear is a life half lived. So you just don’t want to… (more moronic cheering and clapping). So it’ll be interesting, if we all pay attention to what scientists say, maybe the coronavirus will just blow on by. And with a minimum of cases. Then we kicked its ass… For obeying the recommendations of scientists on how to minimize your chances of getting it.”
I’m sure he’ll be all for mandatory vaccinations and “digital certificates” too. His creepy comments begin at the 1:20 mark.
March 8 – Italy declares nationwide lockdown (60 million people).
- During an interview with CBS’ 60 Minutes, The Twerp makes the following statement regarding the wearing of face masks: “The masks are important for someone that’s infected to prevent them from infecting someone else… Right now in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks… When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better (making air quotes), and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection people think that it is.”
March 10 – NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio appears on MSDNC and states (nearly a month and a half after Trump shut down travel to and from China), “For the vast majority of New Yorkers life is going on pretty normally right now and we want to encourage that… There’s very little threat here. This disease, even if you were to get it, basically acts like a common cold or flu, and transmission is not that easy. I think there’s been a misperception.”
March 11 – The WHO declares the coronavirus a worldwide pandemic.
- Chinese scientist Shi Zhengli (aka “the bat woman”) is quoted as saying “I had not slept a wink in days” while she waited to see if the genome of COVID was the same as other viruses her and her team had been working on at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. For the record, I don’t trust the CCP at all… or their scientists. That said, the linked article does offer some interesting insight into Zhengli and her work with bats and coronaviruses. Update (6/1/20): It would appear the Ministry of Truth has stepped in to “address rumors that SARS-CoV-2 emerged from Shi Zhengli’s lab in China.” Check out the added editor’s note…
- NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio appears on The Daily Show with Democrat party propagandist Trevor Noah. After acknowledging the situation looks bad, proper precautions should be taken, and that the coronavirus is something to be concerned about, he downplays the overall severity and says schools and businesses should not be closed. Then, even after all of his own blundering, he blames President Trump for not doing enough and the partisan crowd claps and cheers. That’s right: A live crowd. In NYC. On March 11th. I wonder how many people contracted the virus at that very show? I’ll at least give him some credit for mocking Noah for being “fair and balanced.” The full appearance can be seen here.
- In an outrageous display of stupidity, New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took to Instagram to tell her mindless followers, “People are literally not patroning Chinese restaurants, they’re not patroning Asian restaurants, because of just straight up racism around the coronavirus.” Huh? People are not going to these places out of fear of catching COVID, not racism. Why do leftists always have to make everything about race?
- Biotech company Moderna is being permitted to skip animal trials in their pursuit for a COVID-19 vaccine. This is highly unusual as regulators normally require companies to prove their products are safe, usually through animal testing, before putting them into people.
- Despite the fact that just last year Remdesivir was proven to be a deadly and ineffective drug, the US Army Medical Research and Development Command has partnered with Gilead to conduct medical experiments on our soldiers using their garbage product as a potential treatment for COVID.
March 12 – President Trump imposes travel restrictions from Europe (26 countries) and elsewhere. Biden also criticizes that decision as “xenophobic.”
- Shutdown of the Western world unofficially begins. See this if you need a laugh.
- Trump begins taking heat from the mainstream media for describing COVID-19 as a “Chinese virus” in response to accusations by the Chinese government that COVID-19 was spread in China by the US Army. This is after the media themselves used the term repeatedly (this link was taken down, but here’s another one) for weeks on end (also see this for a fun little Everybody Was Kung Flu Fighting medley), and only took exception and began to express faux outrage because Trump began to say it. This issue goes back to 2015, a time when PC lunacy began running rampant again all over the planet, and a movement was started by the WHO to stop naming illnesses according to their geographic location of origin. The madness of it all prompted OAN reporter Chanel Rion, a Korean-American, to ask this “incredibly bonkers” question intended to stick it to the braindead and seemingly America-hating WH press corps, “…major left-wing media, even in this room, have teamed up with Chinese communist party narratives, and they are claiming you are racist for making these claims about a ‘Chinese virus,’ Is it alarming that major media players, just to oppose you, are siding with foreign state propaganda, Islamic radicals, and Latin gangs and cartels and they work right here out of the White House with direct access to you and your team?” Ba-zing! See the question here. This caused one or more of the cowards in the WH press corps to leave a typed note (no traceable handwriting) for her asking if what she did is helping to stop the spread of the coronavirus… How is anything they do helping to stop the spread exactly?? Since then she has been attacked nonstop (just Google her name) and has faced repeated attempts to ban her from even entering the room. Apparently, the liberal media is very intent on maintaining the narratives they create and can’t have a journalist present who is unwilling to needlessly attack the president. Please make sure to check out this short report on the overt bias of the WH press corps.
March 13 – Business Insider reports Chinese officials have begun stating that the first case of COVID-19 emerged on November 17, 2019.
- President Trump declares a national emergency.
- CDC produces a worst case scenario coronavirus model predicting that upwards of 214M Americans could be infected and as many as 1.7M could die.
- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (HHS) issues guidelines for accepting COVID patients into nursing home facilities. The document clearly states these facilities must have the ability to isolate sick residents so that they can’t spread the disease to others. Still sounds like a bad idea to me.
March 14 – NYC Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot states at a press conference the soonest the coronavirus outbreak in NYC will be over is September. Quite a pivot.
- At the same press conference, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio states, “We are nowhere near where we need to be as a nation,” and begins talking shit about President Trump and the Republican leadership in the Senate. Deflect much, Bill?
March 15 – Due to days of pressure from parents and educators, Mayor de Blasio and Governor Cuomo announce schools in NYC, Long Island and Westchester would begin closing. Just five days earlier de Blasio said COVID-19 presented “very little threat.”
March 16 – Neil Ferguson (and others) release a report from Imperial College London predicting a doomsday scenario in which 2.2 million Americans and 500K Brits would die from the pandemic, and our healthcare systems would become completely overwhelmed and overrun with sick and dying people.
- The New York Slimes reports there were “shouting matches” between Mayor de Blasio and some of his aides, and a few health officials were even threatening to quit, unless he changed his tune on the coronavirus and made more of an effort to stop the spread. Less than a week later NYC would become the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.
March 17 – Kristian Andersen, Andrew Rambaut, Ian Lipkin, Edward Holmes, and Robert Garry publish an article in the journal Nature titled, “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2.” The article seeks to discredit the notion that COVID may have leaked from a lab, though the authors provide no real evidence to support their assertion. The authors write in part, “Here we review what can be deduced about the origin of SARS-CoV-2 from comparative analysis of genomic data. We offer a perspective on the notable features of the SARS-CoV-2 genome and discuss scenarios by which they could have arisen. Our analyses clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus… On the basis of structural studies and biochemical experiments, SARS-CoV-2 seems to have an RBD [receptor-binding domain] that binds with high affinity to ACE2 from humans, ferrets, cats and other species with high receptor homology. While the analyses above suggest that SARS-CoV-2 may bind human ACE2 with high affinity, computational analyses predict that the interaction is not ideal and that the RBD sequence is different from those shown in SARS-CoV to be optimal for receptor binding. Thus, the high-affinity binding of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein to human ACE2 is most likely the result of natural selection on a human or human-like ACE2 that permits another optimal binding solution to arise. This is strong evidence that SARS-CoV-2 is not the product of purposeful manipulation.” It doesn’t make much sense that while on the one hand these scientists say the RBD “binds with high affinity” to the ACE2 receptor, but then assume with no evidence that not only is this “affinity” the result of natural selection, but SARS-CoV-2 is “not the product of purposeful manipulation.” Why? Just because they say so? “Pathogens of pandemic potential” – like coronaviruses – have been experimented on for nearly ten years.
The first theory they present in the article is “Natural selection in an animal host before zoonotic transfer,” writing in part, “Malayan pangolins (Manis javanica) illegally imported into Guangdong province contain coronaviruses similar to SARS-CoV-2. Although the RaTG13 bat virus remains the closest to SARS-CoV-2 across the genome, some pangolin coronaviruses exhibit strong similarity to SARS-CoV-2 in the RBD, including all six key RBD residues. This clearly shows that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein optimized for binding to human-like ACE2 is the result of natural selection. Neither the bat betacoronaviruses nor the pangolin betacoronaviruses sampled thus far have polybasic cleavage sites. Although no animal coronavirus has been identified that is sufficiently similar to have served as the direct progenitor of SARS-CoV-2, the diversity of coronaviruses in bats and other species is massively undersampled. Mutations, insertions and deletions can occur near the S1-S2 junction of coronaviruses, which shows that the polybasic cleavage site can arise by a natural evolutionary process.” Lots of this can happen, but that does not mean they did.
Their next theory is “Natural selection in humans following zoonotic transfer.” To support this theory the authors write, “It is possible that a progenitor of SARS-CoV-2 jumped into humans, acquiring the genomic features described above through adaptation during undetected human-to-human transmission… All SARS-CoV-2 genomes sequenced so far have the genomic features described above and are thus derived from a common ancestor that had them too. The presence in pangolins of an RBD very similar to that of SARS-CoV-2 means that we can infer this was also probably in the virus that jumped to humans. This leaves the insertion of polybasic cleavage site to occur during human-to-human transmission… Hence, this scenario presumes a period of unrecognized transmission in humans between the initial zoonotic event and the acquisition of the polybasic cleavage site. Sufficient opportunity could have arisen if there had been many prior zoonotic events that produced short chains of human-to-human transmission over an extended period. This is essentially the situation for MERS-CoV, for which all human cases are the result of repeated jumps of the virus from dromedary camels, producing single infections or short transmission chains that eventually resolve, with no adaptation to sustained transmission.” Based on the way these scientists are drawing conclusions about the origin of SARS-CoV-2, I’m going to have to assume the MERS outbreaks they mentioned – which began occurring in Middle Eastern, South Asian and African countries in 2012 – were probably not the result of “repeated jumps of the virus from dromedary camels.”
The final theory they present is “Selection during passage,” writing in part, “Basic research involving passage of bat SARS-CoV-like coronaviruses in cell culture and/or animal models has been ongoing for many years in biosafety level 2 laboratories across the world, and there are documented instances of laboratory escapes of SARS-CoV. We must therefore examine the possibility of an inadvertent laboratory release of SARS-CoV-2. In theory, it is possible that SARS-CoV-2 acquired RBD mutations during adaptation to passage in cell culture, as has been observed in studies of SARS-CoV. The finding of SARS-CoV-like coronaviruses from pangolins with nearly identical RBDs, however, provides a much stronger and more parsimonious explanation of how SARS-CoV-2 acquired these via recombination or mutation.” Is this really a “stronger and more parsimonious explanation” of SARS-CoV-2’s origin, or just a more convenient one? The authors ultimately conclude, “The genomic features described here may explain in part the infectiousness and transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 in humans. Although the evidence shows that SARS-CoV-2 is not a purposefully manipulated virus, it is currently impossible to prove or disprove the other theories of its origin described here. However, since we observed all notable SARS-CoV-2 features, including the optimized RBD and polybasic cleavage site, in related coronaviruses in nature, we do not believe that any type of laboratory-based scenario is plausible.” So while the “evidence shows” SARS-CoV-2 was not “purposefully manipulated,” it’s not currently possible “to prove or disprove the other theories of its origin”? Whatever you say, guys… This article is a weak attempt to cover up what more people believe each day – that this virus came out of the Wuhan Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China.
- It is revealed as early as late December, Chinese government officials were ordering the destruction of COVID-19 samples present in labs and prohibiting the sharing or publication of findings about it.
- A federal plan is leaked warning the pandemic may last “18 months or longer” and would come in “multiple waves” of infection. To many in government, this pandemic needs to last long enough to destroy Trump’s booming economy and at the same time transfer massive wealth to the world’s business elites.
March 18 – A new “expert forecast” is released by Thomas McAndrew of the University of Massachusetts Amherst predicting that up to 200K Americans will die from COVID-19 by the end of the year. After thoroughly inspecting the “Tweets & Replies” section of McAndrew’s Twitter page in search of political bias, I found a reTweet of Stephen Colbert from November 18, 2016 stating, “Trump’s cabinet is like a dream team of people who have never heard MLK’s dream.” Why a seemingly brilliant guy would reTweet such stupidity is astounding. It’s likely he’s been infected with the liberal pathogen and is now in the late stages of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
- Bill Gates partakes in an online Q&A on Reddit (or as they say ‘Ask Me Anything’) titled, “I’m Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. AMA about COVID-19” …how convenient. In one of his answers Gates makes reference to a “digital certificate” that will be used to keep track of who is vaccinated. To start the exchange, a Reddit user named RemoteControlledUser asked the following: “What changes are we going to have to make to how businesses operate to maintain our economy while providing social distancing?” Bill Gates replied: “The question of which businesses should keep going is tricky. Certainly food supply and the health system. We still need water, electricity and the internet. Supply chains for critical things need to be maintained. Countries are still figuring out what to keep running… Eventually we will have some digital certificates to show who has recovered or been tested recently or when we have a vaccine who has received it.” A screenshot of the exchange can be found here. More about these “digital certificates” (also called “quantum dot tattoos”) can be found here.
- Hong Kong will begin using electronic surveillance wristbands to enforce the required two week quarantine for people entering the country.
- During a conference call featuring over 200 democratic members of congress, House Majority Whip James Clyburn referred to the coronavirus pandemic as “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” God help us.
- We learn 99.2% of the people in Italy that have died thus far from COVID-19 had other illnesses.
March 19 – China begins to report COVID-19 infections have stopped spreading (if you believe China).
- Overt western praise for totalitarian measures to fight the coronavirus begins… see this, this, this, this, this and this.
- Surprisingly, Newsweek runs a piece chronicling many of Trump’s “fiercest critics” praising his efforts during the coronavirus pandemic… By the time they print their next issue this will be down the memory hole forever.
- Spain begins using drones to enforce social distancing.
March 21 – The New York City Department of Health has somehow found the time to issue graphic safe sex guidelines for people to follow during the health emergency, specifically advising against “rim jobs.”
March 22 – House Speaker Nasty Pelosi and the Democrats offer up an 1100+ page monstrosity of a stimulus/relief bill to mitigate the damage being done to people and the economy because of the coronavirus. The bill was packed with so much pork it was practically squealing. Things in the bill not related to the crisis at hand include:
- Mandated “diversity” on corporate boards and in banks.
- Requiring airlines to disclose and reduce emissions.
- Mandate that states allow voting by mail.
- Increased union bargaining power.
- Expanded tax credits for wind and solar power.
- Prohibiting universities from disclosing the citizenship status of their students.
- A bailout for some private pensions… and much more.
Refer back to the James Clyburn quote from March 18 to see why any of these things would be necessary at a time like this. Particularly disturbing is number three… The Democrats want to make election rigging their official policy through the stuffing of ballot boxes.
- Actor Daniel Dae Kim says hydroxychloroquine helped his coronavirus recovery. Kim stated in an Instagram post, “And here’s what I consider to be the secret weapon: hydroxychloroquine. This is a common anti-malarial drug that has been used with great success in Korea in their fight against the coronavirus, and yes, this is the drug that the president mentioned the other day.”
- Police in Brussels, Belgium begin using drones to enforce social distancing.
March 23 – New York City confirms over 20,000 cases of infection and 157 related deaths, making it the epicenter of the outbreak in the US. Update (4/10/20): NYC now has more coronavirus cases than every country in the world.
- The Scarf Lady states at a task force presser she believes the virus had been circulating in New York for weeks and reported that NYC had infection rates that were five times higher than what we were seeing in other areas of NY and the country. Gee, I can’t imagine why.
- Senate passes $2T coronavirus relief package. Pelosi caves on many of the Dems more outlandish demands and commits to getting the bill through the house.
- A story breaks about two morons in Phoenix, Arizona drinking fish bowl cleaner in an attempt to protect themselves from the coronavirus because the product contained chloroquine phosphate. The media jumped all over the story, falsely blaming public statements Trump had made regarding hydroxychloroquine as the reason for the couple’s attempt at self-medication. One such fake news story is this one from CBS, where the dishonesty starts right in the headline – “Arizona man dies, wife ill after taking drug touted as virus treatment: ‘Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure’” …Wow. I don’t recall Trump ever telling people to drink fish bowl cleaner, or even refer to the medication as a cure. Read the article if you need a good laugh as just about everything stated in it is false. The reason why the media hates Trump’s optimism regarding the drug, which is proving to be effective, is because it offers people hope and the media just can’t have that. They want people scared and feeling threatened so they can shift those feelings to Orange Man Bad. As always, there is a lot more to this story. See this for a good breakdown of the situation by Larry Elder and this article about the suspicion this woman murdered her husband. Oh, and did I mention these two idiots are/were democrats? Shocking, I know. CBS = Complete Bull Shit
- Despite Ohio recording only 6 coronavirus deaths (the state’s population is over 11.7M), and while averaging 2,342 deaths per year due to flu and pneumonia, anti-Trump Governor Mike DeWine (Republican) puts a stay-at-home order in place extending to May 19th.
March 24 – NY Governor Andrew Cuomo melts down at a press conference and unnecessarily spreads panic by claiming the state is in desperate need of 30,000 ventilators. After being informed the federal government would be sending NY 400 ventilators, Cuomo states in dramatic fashion, “What am I going to do with 400 ventilators? When I need 30,000. You pick the 26,000 people that are going to die because you only sent 400 ventilators.” In addition to his terrible math skills (29,600 hypothetical sick people were going to die because there wouldn’t be enough ventilators, not 26,000), his statement is completely asinine because no New Yorker wants to hear their governor screaming about how tens of thousands of people are going to die, especially in the midst of a health crisis. Not to mention the validity of the models being used at the time to make this determination were being questioned by many. Moreover, it’s not the job of the federal government to help states get prepared for an emergency, but to provide funding and assistance in the event they need help after the fact. This is how it’s always been. I think the efforts of the Trump administration to get ahead of the pandemic in places where “hotspots” were expected to potentially strain the health care system was good (creating several makeshift hospitals in NY including the Javits Center, sending hospital ships to NY and California, providing medical equipment, etc.), but ultimately this is on the individual states, especially when we are talking about a global pandemic – a time when everybody is asking for help. Adding insult to injury, this report produced in November of 2015 by the NYS Task Force on Life and the Law (part of the NYC Dept. of Health) entitled “Ventilator Allocation Guidelines” shows clearly in a chart on page 30 that in the event of a severe global pandemic, the exact scenario we are now dealing with, NYC would be around 16,000 ventilators short of what might be needed. NYC, having already been the target of terrorism in the past, should have heeded the recommendation and begun to prepare for if and when such a need were to arise. The estimated cost of acquiring all of the recommended 16,000 ventilators would have been roughly $550M. Instead of going about the process of acquiring them, Governor Cuomo chose to engage in projects that have wasted billions in NY taxpayer money, including a $700+M dollar solar power plant that so far has produced nothing meaningful for our state. As of now, the projections made by the Trump administration regarding the need for ventilators has been correct, and Cuomo’s projection has been wrong. Let’s hope it stays that way. Update (4/9/20): Since Cuomo made these moronic statements, we have learned an overwhelming number of patients put on a ventilator end up dying.
- French police begin using drones to enforce social distancing.
March 25 – NYS Department of Health issues a directive stating “medically stable” COVID-19 patients cannot be denied entry or reentry into nursing home facilities. This terrible decision has put some of the most vulnerable people in our state directly into harm’s way. This makes no sense other than to increase the death toll in my opinion. Why do this when there are places set up (the Javits center, the hospital ship) with the express purpose of housing these patients? Update: NYS has scrubbed the directive from the internet, though a screenshot can be seen here.
- In a shameful attempt to whip up more fear and anxiety in the general public due to a supposed lack of ventilators in NYC hospitals, CBS News aired a segment in which they falsely presented footage from an Italian hospital in Lombardy and passed it off as footage from a hospital in New York. The full segment can be seen here. The Sky News report about the Italian hospital can be seen here.
- House of Representatives passes the bill that was already passed by the Senate March 23.
- Police patrols in NYC are reminding people through a loudspeaker to stay six feet apart. It’s quite dystopian and the message being played sounds a little like Cobra Commander from G.I. Joe. I’d bet mayors and other “leaders” probably sound this way while they’re watching the drone footage of people not following their orders.
- Basketball rims begin being removed from NYC parks. I’ve noticed many parks by me have also had them removed (Nassau County). I now have to go on a mission to find a rim when I want to go shoot around a little for some exercise.
- Despite Kentucky recording only 2 coronavirus deaths (the state’s population is 4.5M), and while averaging 955 deaths per year due to flu and pneumonia, Governor Andy Beshear (Democrat) issues an indefinite “stay healthy at home order.”
March 26 – US infections surpass total in China (if you believe China) and Italy.
- After Western governments all but completely shut down their economies in an attempt to brace for the coming disaster due to the dreaded Wuhan Red Death, Neil Ferguson walks back his doomsday prophecy and is now stating hospitals will likely not be overrun by any means, and that death tolls would be much lower than originally projected, with deaths in the UK deaths unlikely to exceed 20K. It should be noted models will produce results based on what is entered into them (see this video by Tony Heller and check out realclimatescience.com).
- Mayors in Italian towns begin using drones to enforce social distancing. One of the messages is, “Where the fuck are you going? Go home.” Now don’t you think that sounds like something Cobra Commander would say?
- Not to be outdone by her counterpart and fellow traveler over here in New York, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer issues a directive to allow COVID patients admittance or re-admittance into nursing homes, and homes at 80% capacity or less must create COVID units. They are all set up with their contact tracing program over there, too. Notice part 2 (because it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to stop the spread!): “When someone tests positive for COVID-19, we will notify their close contacts so they know how to take the appropriate precautions to keep themselves and community members safe.” Do we really need the government to alert our “close contacts” for us?? Give me a break. This is really about training the nation to be compliant slaves. Also see this harsh critique.
- Former British Prime Minister and globalist Gordon Brown calls for a “temporary” global government to fight the coronavirus. Wouldn’t that just be nations working together in a time of crisis? These people are so obvious.
March 27 – The CDC states they have (working with Apple Inc.) “released an app and website that guides Americans through a series of questions about their health and exposure to determine if they should seek care for COVID-19 symptoms. The tool provides CDC recommendations on next steps including guidance on social distancing and self-isolating, how to closely monitor symptoms, recommendations on testing, and when to contact a medical provider.” Ya know, just in case you’re a total dumb ass.
- The Washingtonian publishes an article titled “You Can Now Buy Anthony Fauci Swag: T-shirts, mugs, pillows – and, yes, even a Fauci prayer candle.” Available items include an “I Need a Hero” T-Shirt, Fauci socks, Fauci Fan Club buttons, “Honk For Dr. Fauci” lawn signs, a Fauci prayer candle, a “Fauci 2020” T-Shirt, a “Hope” hoodie, “I ❤ Dr. Fauci” throw pillows, and a “Keep Calm and Wash Your Hands” mug. Sadly, it never takes very long for the creeps to capitalize on a crisis… Though any of these items would make a great gift for someone you know who is suffering from a case of Stockholm Syndrome.
March 28 – Despite Montana recording only 2 coronavirus deaths (the state’s population is about 1.1M), and while averaging 169 deaths from flu and pneumonia per year, Governor Steve Bullock (Democrat) puts a stay-at-home order in place which will extend through April 26th.
- Towns in Wales are using drones to enforce social distancing.
March 29 – NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio is “confronted” by CNN’s Fake Yapper on his Sunday morning show State of the Union about his slow response to the coronavirus. After being shown a montage of his idiocy over the past several months (as I previously covered in the timeline), de Blasio begins his response by saying, “Jake, we should not be focusing, in my view, on anything looking back on any level of government right now. This is just about how we save lives going forward.” Is this guy freaking kidding me? Though I appreciate Fake Yapper calling out his hypocrisy to some degree, one can’t help but think that it sure is good to be a Democrat. See the full transcript here.
March 30 – President Trump is needlessly attacked by New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and a slimy MSDNC “news anchorwoman” (other individuals and networks, too) for “suggesting without any evidence” N95 masks were being stolen from New York hospitals. The problem with this phony assertion is that just a few weeks earlier New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the exact same thing during a coronavirus press conference. Cuomo stated, “Not just people taking a couple or three, I mean just actual thefts of those products. I’ve asked the state police to do an investigation, look at places that are selling masks, medical equipment, protective wear, feeding the anxiety.” You would think a senator from New York should be aware of things like this happening, but instead of being informed enough (or willing enough) to correct the anchorwoman, she chose instead to use her time on television trying to score political points by lying about President Trump, calling his statement “beyond absurd.” To watch the clip of this shameless behavior it begins at the 3:39 mark of this video.
- CBS admits to making a “mistake” when they aired footage from an Italian hospital and falsely said it was from Queens, NY… Sort of like when ABC “mistakenly” used footage from a Kentucky gun range and claimed it was from the Turkey/Syria border. I’m sure ABC “mistakenly” cropped out all the cell phones filming the event before they used it, too.
- During an interview with Formosa News, Bruce Aylward, a Canadian epidemiologist and a senior WHO official, repeatedly dodged a question about the WHO reconsidering Taiwan’s membership into the organization. After initially ignoring and then attempting to move past the question, he disconnects the video feed when asked again by the reporter. After she gets him back on the line she alters the question and just asks his opinion of how well Taiwan has handled the outbreak, seemingly to get him to acknowledge Taiwan as separate from China, and he responds by saying, “Well, we’ve already talked about China.” Aylward has continuously praised China since the outbreak began in multiple interviews. The WHO is basically China’s bitch.
- Godless communist and NYC Mayor, Bill de Blasio, threatens the permanent closure of churches that defy the coronavirus ban and continue to hold services.
- Drones, fitted with flashing lights and sirens like police cars, will be used to enforce social distancing in Western Australia.
- Despite Virginia recording only 23 coronavirus deaths (the state’s population is 8.5M), and while averaging 1,324 deaths per year due to flu and pneumonia, Governor Ralph “Coonman” Northam (Democrat) puts a stay at home order in place extending until June 10th.
March 31 – “Federal public health officials” (who I assume include The Twerp and The Scarf Lady) begin to use new numbers for a projected US death total due to coronavirus of between 100K and 240K, depending on Americans’ adherence to stricter guidelines. Fauci warned models are not always accurate and will be influenced by how seriously Americans take orders to avoid contact with others… In other words, how well we obey the technocrats.
- The Department of State issues a level-4 health advisory explicitly telling Americans to not travel outside of the country and to return to the US as soon as possible if that option is still available.
- More than one third of all of the people on Earth find themselves under some form of lockdown (a wet dream for the power elite that runs the planet), and more importantly, the precedent has now been set for future lockdowns.
- Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti encourages residents to tattle on one another if they are not following health guidelines saying, “You know the old expression about snitches, well in this case, snitches get rewards. We want to thank you for turning folks in and making sure that we are all safe.” What a scumbag.
